Text:
A lot of people find it hard walking wisely and that is they find it difficult to maximize time and seasons. You need the wisdom of God to walk wisely in this cruel world. Believers are encouraged to walk wisely in their journey in this world despite that so many have become victims of circumstances in this world while some took advantage of circumstance, it is advisable we learn from both sides, i.e., those who were victims and those who took advantage of the circumstances. One biblical example among many is the life of Noah in Gen.6: 9, we could see that Noah walked with God, therefore walking wisely and that was why he found grace before God’s sight. We could see that he followed and fulfilled God’s instruction despite the wickedness existing in his times. Hence, likewise, let us follow God and walk in His wisdom rather than walking using our intellect.
Another example is Joseph in Gen. 39: 2-4, despite the challenges Joseph faced, he did not compromise instead he walked wisely with God and He was established and promoted as the vice president of Egypt. Also, look at Ruth in Ruth 2, Boaz addressed and exalted Ruth looking at her sacrifice to take care of her mother-in-law, and because of that her story cannot be erased from the scriptures despite being a Gentile. Brethren, walk wisely with God. Ruth has a good character because she walked with God. Likewise, as believers, work on your integrity and your character for more opportunities. Learn to walk with God as He will counsel you, guide you, and position you for greatness.
Several other examples are David, Daniel who wanted to be killed by his enemies he was thrown into the Lion’s Den but he found grace before God as he walked blameless before God. You see those having negative thoughts about you, don’t focus on them, you continue your walk with God and He shall surely deliver you from your enemies as He knows all things and your life becomes meaningful radiating His glory.
Do not live life like the prodigal son in Luke 15: 11-32 who lived a rough life, after demanding his rights from the father and traveling afar to scandalize the money after which he was left with nothing and came back home and returned to his father. Also in Judges 13 – 16, you will see how Samson walked carelessly and sold himself to his enemy, killing himself. Children of God, don’t allow the enemies of God to rejoice over your life and I pray that God who owns Heavens and the Earth will not allow you to be a victim of the enemy. Also, King Saul failed to follow the instruction of God to destroy the Amalekites and that was why his kingdom was torn away and given to a neighbor better than him i.e., David.
You must know how to walk wisely with God. Proverbs 14: 16 as it makes us depart from evil.
