Our topic today is a word of warning, calling us to be watchful and careful because in this life God knows best what we need to engage in to be victorious. Hence, Jesus Christ is calling them to be focused as it is needed to succeed in life. In the book of Luke 28: 1 where Jesus was transfigured but we could see that Peter despite the close proximity with Jesus still denied Jesus even after proclaiming to Jesus that he won’t. Brethren, for us to obtain victory, we must take time. Even after Peter denied Jesus, he sought God for forgiveness and repented, you also can repent likewise today.

In the book of Judges, we could see how the great man, Samson fell and was brought to nothing because God departed from him. Always know that we are nothing without God. You know Samson did not yield to the warnings giving to him and he cut short his destiny, dying prematurely. Brethren, you need to take time also, even in the voracious world where children use their parent for ritual. You need to take time and be extra careful to finish this year successful.

In the book of 2 Kings 6, the story of Achan is another example, God told not to take any strange thing along with them of which Achan refused and hid it in his tent. Brethren, please know that there is nothing you can hide from God irrespective of your location. And look at the end of Achan, he was stoned to death because that little disobedience caused the killings of the some Israelites of which his secret was exposed. Therefore, brethren let us take time also so we won’t end up in destruction. I pray that it shall be well with us in Jesus name.
