Text: Matthew 11: 28-30
We give glory to the Lord for helping us and granting the gift of life to witness another Christmas Eve. As we are celebrating in this season, it is part of the fulfillment of God and it is my prayer that we celebrate more years to come. Many are afraid because of their past experiences but we do not need to panic, rest on God and He will continue to be your protector and guide. Proverbs 18: 10
As we celebrate this time and season, it is of God’s mercy, that a lot of people we celebrated together last year are no more. Therefore you need to rest on God not on man but on Him alone. Mattew 11: 28-30 tells us to rest on God who wants the best for us. He is ready to bear our burden and yoke. As children of God, learn to find rest in God, not in your possessions or in the associations you have but in God.
Depend on God and allow Him to take away your challenges and those issues giving you sleepless nights, and your worries. Kindly lay everything at His feet and He will carry it for you. You don’t need to cry, He will relieve you and cause a turnaround for you. Some people when God is helping them think they know how to do things not knowing it is God that is helping them. As you celebrate this Christmas period, rest on God, don’t let anything bother you. Psalms 62: 1-2
Whether you have or you don’t have, kindly relax, God almighty will provide for you, He will protect you and supply all your needs. God changed the story of the man called Jabez and He is still in the business of turning things around making the needy a testifier. The scriptures encourage us to put our trust in Him and He will settle our case. Isaiah 40: 31 We need to renew our strength in God by depending on Him, do not let the presence of God depart from you. He will surely equip and empower you to crossover the year. I prophesy to you that you will start achieving the things you could not achieve before. He will surprise you as He did to Joseph. All you need to do is to rest on God for He never fails.
