We need to count on God’s leading as no one regrets making this decision. Hebrews 13: 5 assures that God will never leave us nor forsake us. His promise to us assures God’s readiness to stand by us and support us. We must not lean on our understanding for decisions and steps in life. God, who never sleeps nor slumber can grant us everlasting protection that no man can guarantee. Therefore, I need you to count on God for your everyday activities.

I want to assure you that God never forgets, He has an interest in our life and our progress. He loves everything He has created and that is why we are to look unto you because He created us and He knows so well that even we. Jeremiah 1: 5. Before God allowed your birth, He knows what He wants to use you for, it is Satan that deceives and manipulates men around. God knows you and He has a purpose. Therefore you are to seek Him for your purpose on earth so you can start walking in destiny. God’s thought towards us is made known in the scriptures in Jeremiah 29: 11.

When God visits an individual, there is transformation. God visited the Israelites, and Joseph knowing this beforehand told them not to leave his bones behind. God visited both Adam and Eve whom He created, and at the cool of the day, He goes to visit them. And when God visits, it is either for a positive or negative transformation. I encourage you to choose the positive transformation. Remember, God’s visitation to the Egyptians and they experienced God’s might.

God never forgets a man because He even longs and desires fellowship with man and that is why He has given us access to call Him “Abba Father”. He won’t forget you because He won’t change his desires. I want you to know that God’s purposes never change. Rev. 3: 20 shows how long earnestly awaits man’s cooperation to commune with Him. God has promised not to leave us alone. Joshua 1: 5 He will never forsake you. God walked with Joshua and granted Him victories over his enemies.

In the world today, challenges are everywhere and most of the news is bad news, spreading across the media platforms. As a believer, God is the only one we can cry out to for help. We must know how to call upon God for His peace to reign. Mark 4: 39 presented a situation where Jesus spoke to the storm because the disciples were experiencing it at that moment and having done all they could to the best of their knowledge, there seems to be no improvement. In order not to perish in the storm, they cried out to Jesus who was with them but asleep in the boat and immediately Jesus rebuked the storm, there was calmness all around them.

Change your attitude to gratitude is an important message for you to act upon as the majority are ignorant of what the enemy has in mind for them which has made them unable to recognize God’s mercy upon their life and talkless of now appreciating God for it. A brother once complained about his state not becoming better than when he was an unbeliever. God revealed the enemy’s intention to him where he saw the miserable state he would have been currently had he not given his life to Christ. Then he realized God’s mercy and appreciated God’s kindness. Children of God, we need to have the spirit of gratitude as you can testify your being alive is by God’s grace and strength.

Prayer is important and necessary for believers. Through prayer, God’s presence is invoked and hosted and where there is God’s presence, His power is made available. When believers pray, they enjoy and experience God’s intervention. Prayer is essential for the believer Ephesians 6: 11-12.

Last week, we discussed how Samson, Ananias, and Sapphira destroy themselves because of their sin. Today we will be examining our appetite as a lot of people have destroyed themselves because of appetite. An example we will be examing is Esau, Jacob’s brother, his appetite made him sell his birthright. Genesis 25: 31-33 traded his birthright due to hunger, he lost that which was given from above. He made a foolish decision. Don’t do likewise, be careful about what you are feeding yourself, that which you are eating, and do not let it destroy you. Ensure you are making the right decision to fulfill God’s purpose and his divine mandate for your life. A lot when God gives instructions and steps they should follow. They won’t obey and will deceive themselves. Change the changeable, i.e., change the things you need to change so that you won’t hinder the glory of God.

We need to stop the work of satan as satan seeks our destruction, not wanting the glory of God to manifest. We must understand that as Children of God, victory is assured to us but there is a need to submit ourselves to God. James 4: 7. We are given weapons of war for protection in Ephesians 6: 10-12 so as to stand fit and firm in the days of battle less satan hinders such fellow.
