Text: Genesis 37: 4
You need to ignore your critics so you need to move forward. From our bible text, you will see the brethren of Joseph mocked him. Note that the devil doesn’t look for failure but for kings already on their way to the throne to bring them down. Hence, be careful of what you see and what you hear. You need not react or mind them rather use them as a ladder of stepping stones to the place of greatness.
Don’t ever allow them to slaughter your greatness because so many people’s greatness has been slaughtered on the journey to victory. Just ignore them, sometimes you need to be silent as your silence can be a very powerful weapon to conquer them.
Turn to God and look unto God. Be careful of what you feed your eyes and ears with and the things you permit into these gates of the man. Don’t allow your critics to weigh you down. Let us pray.
Prayer
- Lord, thank you for who you are in my life and in all you do.
- Lord, from today, paralyze every force and agent manipulating my destiny and my work.
- Lord, don’t let evil propaganda and agenda prosper over my life.
- Lord, deliver me, my family, and my work from all the expectations of the enemies.
- Lord, let all my enemies waiting for me to fail and fall wait in vain.
- Lord, let every concluded plan arranged by the enemy backfire on them.
- Lord, don’t let me end this year with regret.
- Lord, empower me to end this year well, I must not end this year with sorrow.
