Text:  2 Chronicles 1: 6-12

God knows everything that we do, both for him and for others. The king of Israel, King Solomon, who is the son of King David did his sacrifice and on the verge of that, he had a divine visitation that night. I pray God will reward all your good works. Solomon did not give himself to idols, he gave himself to God, if you can give yourself to God, you will experience divine visitation. Solomon did not request for money, he honored God with his resources. Who do you honor with your resources?

It will interest you to know that there is no need to offer any sacrifices, for Christ has made himself the sacrifice on our behalf, hence God does not demand any sacrifice from you. Any other sacrifice that is made now, is done to the devil. Sacrifice in this context means what you are doing as far as the agenda of God’s Kingdom is concerned. What are you devoted to promoting the kingdom of God? I want you to know that God is taking note of them all and will reward you in due season. In the book of Genesis 18: 2-4 Abraham was a very hospitable man, he was doing that not knowing that a day will come when he will entertain angels unknowingly. And what he has been expecting, he got the answer that day. Also in the book of Esther 6: 1-2, the man Mordecai, the day God wanted him promoted ensured the king was unable to sleep and he requested the book of Chronicles where his record was seen and rewarded. I pray God will reward and promote you today also.

The challenge to the prayer is what good thing have you done that people can remember you for? Concerning the work of God around you, what investment have you made? Have you helped the helpless around you? Mordecai was promoted due to his record of his good works and that is why you must be fruitful in good works and don’t relent in it. Obey God by giving your tithes and offering and also helping the needy and being merciful to those in need of mercy. I assure you if you can engage all these, your testimony will come as urgently as possible.
