Subtopic: DON’T BE DISCOURAGED

Text:   Deuteronomy 31: 8

We started a topic since the first Sunday of this month, I want to believe you must have learnt some things. If there is someone beside you, tell the person don’t be discouraged. Last week, we examine different definition of Rehoboth, as a place of fulfillment, rest, and enlargement with scriptural reference. In today’s bible text, I want you to know that Isaac faced a lot of battles and God granted him victory. What battle are you fighting? Is it poverty, marriage, health, or suicide thought? I am admonishing you not to give up. If you must get to your promised land, you must ignore the lies of human beings and decide to follow what God has laid down for you. You need to face what you are doing because at the end the enemy will bow just as they bowed to Isaac.I pray that every enemy that are waging war against you and I, they will all bow in Jesus name.

Another understanding to retain is that the Lord is our helper. Psalms 121: 2. There is little you can do for yourself and the help of man is limited and measurable but when it is from God it is limitless. Hence stop making complaint against your fellow human being and stop seeing them as the only source for your survival as I believed that this month is your month of Rehoboth.

You have to wait on God especially for the remaining days of the year as there are still a lot of good things in this year and those who wait are elevated and lifted. Isaiah 40: 31. Don’t give up, God is going to give you rest Matthew 11: 28. Is it failure you are passing, or whatever the challenge may be, don’t give Satan a chance, it is going to be regret at the end. Come unto Jesus as He calls unto you today and experience His rest. His sustaining grace and preserving grace is much more available to transform your life to a glorious living.

Don’t be troubled and afraid, for God will see you through. Isaiah 41: 10. Jesus is promising to uphold you using everything He can command. For it is only Jesus who can empower you, enlarge you and give you rest, so you need to follow God, surrendering to God and not you directing God as many wants  this way which is not the proper way. Therefore, surrender to Jesus and follow His lead with courage and boldness and you experience your Rehoboth in Jesus name.
