Text: 2 Kings 2: 19-22
Today, I want us to call upon our Maker and Creator, who is our Father that He should repair us. From the bible text, it is the story of God’s children coming from Egypt and they got to Jericho which stands as an obstacle for them on their journey to their promised land, Canaan. Glory be to God who gave a mighty and mysterious strategy that they used in overcoming Jericho, the whole wall of Jericho fell and they got total victory. Likewise, we also need to hear God for total victory.
Hence, after the Israelites’ victory over Jordan, Joshua placed a curse over the city for anyone who wanted to rebuild the city again and this made the land cursed and therefore barren. By theologians, this curse which became a generational inheritance lasted for about 560 years before the matter was brought to the Prophet Elijah who God used to remove the curse. I pray God will lift every issue rooted in your life and not give glory to God. You need to allow God to intervene just as the people of Jericho brought the matter to God. Let us pray
